Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Visits H3C Headquarters in Beijing

China, Beijing, September 1, 2025 – A high-level delegation led by Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, paid an official visit to the headquarters of H3C in Beijing. The delegation was welcomed by Tony Yu, President & CEO of H3C.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed strategic cooperation in education digitalization and the “AI + Education” agenda. They reached agreements on potential collaboration in areas such as digital campus development, AI talent cultivation, and the joint establishment of laboratories and pilot universities.

Minister Nurbek highlighted Kazakhstan’s growing demand for advanced digital infrastructure in higher education and emphasized the importance of joint initiatives under the Belt and Road framework. He expressed strong interest in H3C’s experience in smart education, digital research, and AI-driven solutions, noting the value of developing scalable and replicable projects.

Yu presented H3C’s global strategy, technological strengths, and achievements in digital transformation across the education sector. He reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting Kazakhstan’s modernization of higher education and to serving as a long-term partner in science, technology, and innovation.

Prior to the meeting, the delegation toured the H3C Innovation Experience Center, where they were introduced to H3C’s digital ecosystem solutions and witnessed the company’s practical applications in AI, data integration, and intelligent computing.

The delegation included Makhmut Tomanov, Advisor to the Minister; Serik Kalkamanov, Director of the Department of International Cooperation; Izbasar Meyirbek, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation; and Kaysar Yerkinbayev, Advisor to the Minister.
